I cannot believe that it is almost “Showhouse Time”!!!We are so excited to welcome you to our 44th Symphony Designers’ Showhouse! We are proud to be the country’s longest-running, continuous fundraising Showhouse project. We are also proud of winning a national award recognizing our project’s excellence.Last year’s project got us some major recognition that we want to share with you all. We are featured in a national book-a-zine called “Home Colors”. It features the top showhouses across the country. It will be for sale in the Boutique, as well as national retailers. We will also be featured on HGTV.com this year! We anticipate more national coverage and recognition once everyone gets a good look at this year’s Showhouse. We welcome so many new and innovative Designers, as well as some established, traditional Designers. The Showhouse is beyond fabulous!

This year’s Showhouse was our 16th Showhouse in 1985. What a great opportunity to revisit! We thank this year’s Homeowners for reaching out to us. We have been fortunate that many of Kansas City’s Homeowners have come to realize the value in letting us transform their homes into beautiful showplaces. We work with the top Designers to implement the latest and most up-to-date interior and exterior design trends. This transformation benefits not only them, but Kansas City as a whole, as we support the Kansas City Symphony, one of the most successful orchestras in the Country!

This year we have hosted more fundraising projects than ever before! Last fall we held our first ever Symphony Fall Home Showcase, an Estate Sale at the Showhouse with Rick Pence Auctions, a shopping event at Her Majesty’s Closet and recently, a booth at the Home Builder’s Association’s Greater Kansas City Home Show. Whew! Our Symphony Shop has broken sales records at our beautiful location inside of the gorgeous Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Our specialty retail sales and kettle corn booth at Celebration at the Station remains our single day most successful fundraiser! We are all over social media.
